I'm 27. I'm not a particularly healthy person. I workout a couple times a week and just cut back on the amount of fast food i eat. I've always had hypochondria but this year has been the worst by far. Last year my twin sister died of an overdose. Didn't even know she was doing drugs. I think this plays a part in my health anxiety, realizing my mortality. That being said, I've been having chest discomfort for a few months. Last week i finally went to the ER and they did the whole workup; blood, chest xray, ekg. They said all is fine and they think i have GERD. That day i start having this annoying nerve pain in the left side of my neck and this weird tingly feeling going into my left cheek. So now, a week later, my face isn't tingly anymore but my neck is still and my entire left arm is also. It feels like the circulation is cut off. It doesn't seem to be swollen or discolored and i think I'm lightheaded. I say think because maybe I'm just really tired? I know I'm a hypochondriac so i don't know if it is just in my head. I don't have health insurance until November so i don't have many options. Does this just sound like anxiety or something serious?
