I am sorry you're having trouble sleeping lately...that is so miserable.
Well done on recognizing that you needed to get off your sleeping pills...although difficult for now, your system will soon adjust without them.
Two things that stuck out to me in your post were the energy drinks...and the t.v. Off course the caffeine should not be consumed in the later part of the day...
...and any backlit device such as a phone, computer, or t.v. will interfere with your circadian rhythm...so these are best turned off a couple of hours before bedtime.
Exercise, though not too close to bedtime is another natural sleep aid, if you can fit it into your routine.
