Long story short, I've thought I've been on my death bed this past month. Ridiculous, because I'm a healthy 22 year old/f...but I ran out of my anxiety/depression meds. Breakdown after breakdown...I almost convinced my boyfriend to take me to a mental ward.
Anyways, I'm half Italian and even at my palest, I never go full on white.
But these past few weeks frightened me! I walked up to the mirror one morning to discover I was
ghostly
white! I typically have rosy cheeks, and they refused to show. I couldn't recognize myself in the mirror. Like the life was sucked out of me. I looked terrible!
The other day, my boyfriend's friend gave me a vape-pen filled with Oil for my anxiety. He lives in the same house and was concerned knowing I panic called 911 days prior. I haven't smoked in a long time, but he said it was weak so I decided to give it a try. It has helped tremendously. I am relaxed all day! The color in my skin has returned too! It's so weird to see or feel something I'd panic about
and merely brush it off with a rational thought! MY THOUGHTS ARE NEVER RATIONAL - EVEN WITH THE PILLS! god sent. And the best part it doesn't get me that high, I can function throughout the day.
Sorry I'm not commanding the use of marijunana; only saying my personal experience.
I've had GAD since I was 9, I haven't seen myself get so white before!

Hi AQ,
I am sorry to hear if your struggle currently. I know how difficult it can be.
Anxiety can cause blanching since shallow anxious breathing will constrict blood flow to the extremities and skin.
Breathing exercises can help, so if you do not already practice this coping skill, it would be good to start! See our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for imstructions...as well as other helpful material.
As far as MM is concerned...HW believes that it can be a helpful tool for some...but it must be obtained through the proper legal channels, such as from a dr.'s Rx. Otherwise, we can't discuss it, as it is not legal (in most states) and therefore not discussed according to the rules.
Keep practicing your coping skills...and keep us updated, so we can keep you in support.

Hey!
Was it CBD oil? That is legal in all 50 states and I have been thinking about
trying it out!!! If it wasn't though, that is okay. No worries on answering if it is against the rules here.

I didn't get the impression it was just CBD oil...but yeah, that could be discussed freely.
