I'm surprised that taurine helped for PvCs being that it is also a stimulant which, in most cases, sets off PvCs for people. For me personally, I've thought quite a few things stopped them over the years.. But I've come to realize that the only thing that stops them, is ignoring them as best as possible. The anxiety that comes with them is what really propels things into darkness. Avoid the anxiety and panic, and you'll likely go back to barely feeling them.

I'm here because I just finished my annual cardio-stress test and as usual everything looked fine, except this time my Dr. said he wasn't able to determine an ejection fraction because of some PVC's that kept the "camera" from triggering so he's going to do a echo to check things out. I have been diagnosed 20 yrs ago with panic disorder and until 3 years ago have been on Zoloft. Now just managing the anxiety attacks with Xanax which has been working pretty well.
I'm now wondering if a lot of the panic symptoms I have felt for the past year (palpitations, faintness/lightheadedness, confusion) haven't actually been coming from the occasional PVC. I've been having annual cardio stress tests ever since I had a heart attack in 2003 when there were 2 stents installed and have had no issues since, until now.
When you folks say that you've experienced PVCs, exactly what does that mean? I have felt these twinges that felt like a shot of electricity shooting thru my brain for a moment, and it kinda knocks me off in the weeds mentally for a moment, which sometimes sets off what I've been thinking was an attack of panic or anxiety. But now the dizziness/lightheadedness has become a constant instead of just a momentary feeling. Sometimes I don't feel comfortable driving, feel a bit unsteady, etc...Is this what you folks are experiencing or is it just the momentary flutter in the chest or palpitations without all the continuous dizziness and foggy brain?
I'm in the process of losing weight, down 40 pounds since April, and walk 2 miles every day and feel great doing it. The exercise doesn't seem to affect the brain fog or dizziness either way. Also diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in April but have been assured that I can take care of it with weight loss and changes to eating habits. Needless to say, the stress from that bit of news has been a major problem since then. Just looking for data to compare with mine...Thanks in advance.
