Tapered too fast

Hi all. It's been a little while since I checked in.
Some of you may remember that I was trying to taper off of Remeron. Things were going pretty well.
I dropped from 15 down to 7.5 and then from 7.5 to 3.75 over the course of 4 months. Large drops, but I was anxious to get off of it because of weight gain and fatigue. Still it went well and I felt good. Then I started to alternate days on the 3.75. Did that for about two weeks and got impatient and just stopped. Big mistake.
Felt good for a couple days and then Bam. Nausea and insomnia. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't gotten more than 3 hours of sleep in a night since. Man, I hate insomnia more than just about anything. So, I called my psychiatrist and told him I wanted to give lexapro another shot. So I started taking 10mg 3 days ago.
Now I have all the fun startup effects. last night I went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 11:30 and I've been up since. Now the best way to describe how I feel is dope sick. So that's my rant. I hope the lexapro works for me this time around. (quickly).
I knew I should have had more patience. It just doesn't pay.

I thought I could get away with it because everything had gone so well up to that point.
I never used to have such a high sensitivity to medications. Live and learn, I guess.
