I'm not even kidding. I started taking the different generic sertraline in Sunday of this week and my body feels like I have the worst flu EVER. Every bone, joint and muscle ache. I know it's the switch in manufacturer because I have no fever and it came on gradually over the past few days until today...then BAM! I'm laying in my bed trying to get comfortable and I can find no relief.
Has this happened to anyone else? I am seriously hurting and feel so awful!!!

SM,
I am sorry to hear this!😕
It is not unusual for this to happen with a change in manufacturers...I have heard many stories similar to yours here.
Can you talk to your pharmacist about
the possibility of getting back to your original name brand...or perhaps the option of compounding?

generics are the same, however the manufacturing of the chemical process is different and many people have similar experiences as to you. soz mate, healing thoughts. agree with sc.

Thanks for the replies S. C. and HT!
I called my pharmacist and it he said i should discontinue the Zoloft...I asked him if I could just stop it and he said that was fine since I'm only on 25 mg, but he also told me I might have some W/D's for a few days...I'll deal with those as opposed to feeling like every bone and joint in my body is ready to break. I see my pDoc on Monday and I wanted to discuss going off of it anyway, so I'm just giving it a head start! Lol
My body is feeling a tad better today...I didn't take the Zoloft.
My pharmacy had actually called me before they refilled it last weekend to let me know they could no longer get the greenstone brand because their wholesaler stopped carrying it and ask me what I wanted to do. I love my pharmacy because they know how sensitive my body is to meds...
Thank you again!!!

Sylk,
Okay...good plan and I am glad you're feeling better today!
I hope you have a productive appointment on Monday and get a good plan 'B' going with your P-doc.
Keep us updated!
