Hi. I have been having tailbone pain for about
a month now. I did not fall or do anything to injure myself. What could this be? I am having the worst anxiety that it may be cancer.

Ji KPN and welcome to the A/P.
I am sorry to hear of your ongoing pain issue. That is surely frustrating...and must be getting tiresome
Besides your anxiety trying to scare you...do you have other reasons to think that you are at risk for cancer?
If not, and there are no other symptoms present...then I am sure this is anxiety at work...and a benign reason for your tailbone pain will be found.
Please see our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for great self help material to work with...including Health Anxiety links that could be very helpful for you.

Hi
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear you are having pain in your tail bone I have had the same problem in the past so know how painful it can be. Any kind of injury to your tail bone can take a while to heal but I would suggest that you go and see your doctor just to check and be on the safe side.
Keep us posted.

I tripped and fell square on my "butt/tailbone" three weeks ago and it still
hurts when I sit down if I'm not careful how I sit.

hey there. Is it maybe how you are sitting? Do you sit in a chair a lot during the day? I have felt this when I slouch in my chair for long periods of time.

I have a lot of pain in my tailbone and lower back area. I see a chiropractor and he helps my pain tremendously! I go every 2 weeks and when I miss, I can tell. Maybe give that a try if you are comfortable with a chiropractor giving you adjustments! Good luck!
