Calling all women! Help!

Ok, long story short....I’m terrified I have some sort of female reproductive organ cancer!

On Day 3 of my cycle, I woke up and had soaked through an overnight tampon. I went to take it out and began pouring blood and instantly dropped a few clots the size of large grapes or ping pong balls. This happened one other time that day but less forceful and then things seemed to normalize.

Since then, my period has been disappearing and reappearing! It’s not old blood because when it comes back I suddenly have intense cramps and then bleed bright red again.

I’m scheduled for an ultrasound and appointment on 1:9, but I could use some support/advice/experience, to get me to that date! I know it’s less than two weeks away but I’m a nervous wreck!

Doc Google did mention perimenapause and I’m ok with that if that’s the case!

I’m 37 and I was 90% done with having children, so as long as it’s nothing serious, then bring it on!

Ugh...being a woman isn't for the faint of heart...that's for sure.

Hey Park- I was a bit older then you are now but for a year I suffered with symptoms like yours. I bled like a faucet.
When I went for my yearly exam it ended up I was anemic from too much bleeding....
Went on iron and had an endometrial ablation. You are under general anesthesia and they use a rollerball to cauterize the blood vessels in your uterus. I also had a fibroid removed. Periods were light to normal from then on.
