Hi Shiaky59 and welcome to the A/P!
We are glad you've joined us, though sorry to hear of the anxiety challenges that you have been dealing with. It is indeed difficult.
I am not sure if I am reading your post correctly...did you have an accident/roll your truck? If so, it's possible that you could have PTSD from the experience.
If your anxiety simply came out of the blue (no accident) then, this could simply be a phobia in which your anxiety happens to manifest itself. Driving phobia is fairly common, so you are not alone!
Have you talked to your doctor about the possibility of medication and/or therapy? If not, this is a great first step. He/she may feel like they can treat you...or they may make referrals for you with a P-doc and or therapist.
Until you can get a consult appointment, see our Resources at the top of the main form page here for great self help material that you can start with right away. Practicing the suggested exercises for stress relief can help you lower your overall anxiety levels and start you on the path to feeling better.
Keep posting with us. We care, understand and support is key!
