It's good that you're reaching out for help. I was recently on a new blood pressure medicine and it speeded me up, mind and body, and I couldn't concentrate on anything, couldn't get anything done but walk around the house remembering when I could get things done. I got them to change the b/p medicine and it's slowing me down back to where I was.
Are you on the wrong medicine? Are you able to get out? Can you do any volunteer work like at a hospital or senior citizens home, talking with patients or walking around the grounds? Can you help at a local shelter for animals and maybe walk some of the dogs?
I had a helper who recently turned on me when I asked her for some help making a decision, and I realized, I need a counselor, for I do have a hard time making decisions and my helper didn't assist me with that recently. Do you have a counselor or any kind to help you work through some of this?
Can you walk in your neighborhood giving you also a chance to see some of your neighbors? I also try to stay positive when in such a situation, reminding myself that the hardest time to stay positive is when you have a problem, but that's the time I need it the most. I know how rough this can be. Do you have any projects you can work on? Are you able to concentrate on something like that?
