Hi! Are you in contact with your Humira nurse ambassador? They are great for questions like this! Also, Humira makes travel cases that you can get for free,
I take Humira and have traveled before with one pen using the Humira supplied travel case. I take it with me in my carry on luggage. The recommendation is to keep the pens in the box(es) that they come in as that has the RX information on it.
If you're feeling extra anxious you can always ask your doctor for a letter explaining medical necessity for the medication but I've always been told that's not needed for US travel.
Your Humira Ambassador should be a great resource. Also the TSA site has lots of info on traveling with medication. I know it's super scary to do it the first time but people do travel with injections/pens quite a bit.
Also, one problem I encountered while traveling was how to get rid of the pens after I used them! My Humira Ambassador told me that most hotels and airports have sharps containers.
Hope that helps! Feel free to ask me any questions about this.
Best,
Lisa
