Paxil Cr

Hi everyone. I have been taking Paxil Cr since I was in my 30s almost 21 years now. It worked great and than I hit 50 years old. Stopped my birth control and became an anxious mess this last year.

Well now the manufacture of my brand name Paxil CR, who was GSK, sold it to another manufacturer, Apotex. This is not generic but the brand name. I am terrified that the formula will not be the same and I will experience symptoms. I emailed the new company and they said the formula would be the same however the packaging and bottle and scoring are different. I know its my panic and ocd but terrified to experience any symptoms

I am trying to stay positive. Like I mentioned the new company said it is the same formula. I am terrified (my panic disorder and OCD with health anxiety in high drive) I mean not one ever died from symptoms just do not know if I am strong enough to go through what people describe.

You seem to be a very strong person and I know that OCD and anxiety are hard to keep in line, but you have got this. I have been off of Paxil and on Celexa for about a year do to Paxil no longer working. I glad I made the switch, but you seem fine on it and most all companies will keep the formula the same but just change up the look to make their mark on it to show the change in companies. It happens all of the time to be honest. If things change then I would ask for a change or an up or down in dose. This is just what I would do. Stay safe and hope all is well.
