Had a Bad Day Today

Hello everyone,

So today has not gone according to plan at all. First of all I went to go pick up my prescription at my pharmacy and then my car died. Turned out it was the battery. I had to ask someone to come help me jump my car then I went and got a new battery.

Also I think there maybe something wrong with my AC system in my home. Today where I live the temperature went up to 100 degrees F with a heat index probably at 102. I have the thermostat set at 75 during the day but today it seemed to hover at 76-77 degrees. Last month I had my HVAC system inspected thoroughly checked and inspected and there were no issues found. Maybe because it is so hot that it is having a hard time keeping up. It's always something when owning a house.

Overall I have been feeling down lately the past few months. The last few weeks I have been taking naps out of sheer boredom. I can't til things get back to normal so I can do stuff I used to do like go to the movies or travel.

I read somewhere the best an ac unit can do is drop the temp inside by twenty five degrees. If it is 100 degrees outside then if you get the inside temp down to 75 then you are doing good.

I am sorry your car broke down. At least it was only the battery. Still it is hot and when your car wont run there is no ac either.

As far as being upset you cant go see a movie or travel I am right there with you. I hate being shut away from the world. This is NOT how I thought I would spend my retirement days.

We are right there with you feeling depressed or anxious. Better days will come, we just have to wait on them.
