Not doing all that great,. Just heard yesterday that a close family friend--father with five kids, grandkids and and loving family--killed himself. We still don't know the full details as the family has kept it pretty quiet. None of us even knew there had been a funeral.
GUesss my struggles these last two weeks are mild in comparison. I'm finding it dififullt to just navigate the through the day without stress and anger toward my family. The meds seem to be helping a bit, but as Marsellus Wallace famously said, "I'm pretty ****ing far from okay.

A good week. I've gotten sufficient sleep, exercise, and am eating healthy food. I'm thankful for modern medicine and the availability of safe, anxiety-reducing drugs. I miss my toddler grandkids, but CBT helps me to accept the realities of the pandemic

Hi,
I am trying to focus on the illustration I need to do at work and trying some new computer games. I hope I have the energy to do some house chores this week. Planning to buy more cat toys for my kitty also.
But I am still worried about
this prickly stinging needle feeling I have all over my body. It's been 2 weeks now.
Even though 3 of my friends told me that they got similar sensations with burnout syndrome and stress, I can't help but worry.
I will be getting blood test results soon and will see dr on Friday. Just nervous.

Better week, I was able to get away the weekend, still feeling a little anxious here and there but managing it so far. GuitarGERD, my condolences to you.

Tomorrow I am having flooring installed in my living room. Other than that, not much else is going on which I guess is a good thing

Anxiety was worse this week. The only relief I get is when I’m very busy at work. But when I have down time, the anxiety creeps in.
I registered for an MBSR class. Anyone try that?

A few months ago, I decided that I wanted to call a local sports radio station during their morning show and give my opinion as a caller on the New England Patriots, my favorite NFL team.
A few days ago, I finally did it. I called up and asked the hosts of the show about
how they felt one of the Pats linebackers played last year.
It went well. My parents heard me on the radio. They said I sounded good over the air and that I asked a good question.
I was a little bit nervous before getting on the air. But nothing major. I'm glad I did it. I think it'll be a new hobby for me.
