What time of day does your anxiety peak the most??

My anxiety is brought on by situations and does not follow a schedule. You didn't put a catagory for that.

very early hours of the morning. My routine is to eat a small cracker or piece of toast and either 1/4 or 1/2 of Xanax and then I'm ready to face the world.

oh my mine is by far the worst at night but im always nervous

If I had to choose a time, I think it would be at nighttime.. although I have a lot of panic in the day as well. It seems like I get pretty bad EVERY night though. I take my meds at night before bed, and maybe that's why...

In the evenings. Almost like I’m sundowning. Work really set off my anxiety or the thought of having to go to work the next day

Always, in the morning, as I'm lying in bed before I get up. I sometimes wonder if part or it has to do with low blood sugar. Before getting out of bed, I talk to myself - telling myself not to believe the random anxious thoughts, and reminding myself of all I should be grateful for. Gratitude seems to be great remedy for early-on anxiety!

It peaks when it does, esp under stress. Mornings, usual. HT

Mine doesn't have any set time, it all depends on the situation. Worst scenario thoughts can come at any time. Out of nowhere, that makes me very anxious.

I think we are all getting it a little more under control. Hopefully.

Wow, this thread has been in hibernation for nearly 15 years! Interesting question. My anxiety tends to be higher in the evening. As another member posted, a little bit like sundowning. It's more generalized than specific.

It seems like mine is worse at the end of the workday around 4/5pm and right when I wake up at like 8am
