by breathing through mouth your are triggering your flight or flight
when breathing through nose the air is getting nitric oxide which dilated all blood vessels, effects, diagphramatic breathing, kills microbes, and more.
nasal breathing is parasympathetic, you will get more oxygen and nitric oxide which also help dilate the lung air sacs volume etc.
first switch over to nasal breathing if you are a mouth breather; cure for asthma anxiety, brain fog, etc.
If your breathing through your mouth you need to close your mouth.
also your sleep will be impaired breathing through your mouth at night so you will not get rest and then your whole body physiology will be messed up
