Happened to take double dose mirtazapine - how long until feeling ok again?

You pharmacist and doctor have data on this also.

Also, this may be a tip that your memory may not be what it was. When this started with me, I would turn my pill bottle upside down, right after I took the first dose. if 30 minutes or an hour later, I forgot if I took the first or only dose, I would look at the bottle. If the bottle was upside down, I had taken the dose. If it was standing up, I had not taken the dose.

If I was supposed to take 2 pills a day of that same medicine, right after I took the 2nd dose for the day, I would turn the bottle sideways.

That worked for awhile, and then I got myself a daily pill counter, Monday through Sunday, from the drug store. I would put the pills I needed to take in each slot. If the pills were not in that day's slot, say Monday, it meant I had taken my pills for the day.

I realized I needed to keep a watch on my memory, and use whatever devices there were to help me keep up with my pills for the day.

Same way with appointments. I write them down on a small calendar kept where I can see it everyday, and write an extra note or two if one is coming up.

I've done the same thing with the pill counter and the days of the week.

In that, somehow, I've messed that up, also. I didn't recall how I could do that, but when you mentioned you can't remember what day it is, it came back to me.

Early in my day, I have an idea of what day it is. But as the day drags on, I have a feeling there's been enough hours, it should be the next day. And I go back to the same pill counter, and I have taken the next day's pill or pills.

Now I go to the computer and see what day it is at the lower part of the screen, 7-22-2021. I then go to the calendar and see what day of the week the 22nd is. I can also go to the phone and call "Time of Day" and it will also tell me what day of the week it is.

Oh, and if you curious, it's Thursday. And in 7 more hours, it will be.... Oh, OK, I know. It's confusing.
