Currently, taking Wellbutrin XL 300mg. Have been on the medication for some time now. For the last five years or so, was taking 150mg recently upped it to 300mg due to a setback (depressive episode). Feeling better but at times my general anxiety gets the best of me. Because of symptoms associated with depressive episodes my confidence diminishes and I tend to get a slight imposter syndrome. Any recommendations or success you have had adding a complement to Wellbutrin to help combat those symptoms so that I can quickly return to my former self?

Since your increase was recent it's probably just too soon to see a real difference, give it more time. Perhaps give your dr a call & see what he/she recommends. It's positive that you can tell some difference, that's a good sign.
Take care.

Wellbutrin can be stimulating which can lead to anxiety. Talk to your doc about
something to combat that if you aren't against benzos. I take ativan for anxiety. I used to take xanax.
Or if your depressive episode is over, maybe you can come back down to what you were on before.
I hope it all works out for you.
Hugs, Karen...

Trial and error. An increase that you notice, is a good sign, as mentioned,
keep an eye on it, it will take a bit to even out; Karen, and others have given you great wisdom. HT
