Anxiety over TIA

I had recently had a relapse of panic disorder after being sympton free for 5yrs. Able to function well with medication and therapy, But recently stumbled upon a condition called TIA(transient-ischemic-attack) having symptons quite similar to panic disorder , so that is making me on edge a little bit, Will discuss with my therapist and doctor in the next appointment. Has anyone else research this condition and suggest ways to reassure myself that it is unlikely to be TIA.

I would suggest you keep your appointment and tell us what the doctor said.

A TIA is a form of stroke, short episode, usually only minutes. It occurs when the blood
Supply to the part of the brain is interuppted.
TIA symptoms which mainly occur suddenly are similar of a stroke, but do not last as long.

I had a stroke last week. It appeared at first to be a TIA in the Emergency Room because it passed leaving me without any deficits and feeling quite normal. MRI confirmed a stroke though. You have mild stroke symptoms you need to get yourself to an Emergency Room and note the time symptoms started.
