Can the buspar medication cause stiffness in muscle?

I have the anxiety condition for awhile already. I have taken the buspar medication though. I only took it for a little while. I feel like after taking it that my arms and legs feel kind of stiff though. I think that it gives me anxiety to feel that way. Does anyone know if buspar can cause stiffness in muscles though? Could anxiety do that? I hope it goes away. Can someone give me some advice on this? Thanks.

I had no issues with buspar like what you are describing. I suggest you see your dr & discuss this with him/her for advice. Perhaps there is something the dr can prescribe for your anxiety.

Buspar, in rare cases, can cause muscle stiffness. As Susie said, please contact your doctor.

Hi Straydog. Thanks. Ya I have talk to her about it already. I have stop taking the medication. I think that she may give me a different one though.
