WHY did I just go health surfing on the net?!

Dummy me, I keep having palps and tightness in my chest, probably anxiety, nothing real new for me. Somehow I felt the need to look up info anyways. Big mistake! Grrrrr.

i just did the same thing! Ugh!

Most of the time I don't... but

every once in a while i just sit

here thinking "THERE has got to

be something wrong!"

I am going to go check my bp

at Kmart today. I have been taking

blood pressure meds for a week now.

Another what-iffer here. What exactly is a palpitation? I get flutters at times and "skips" at other times. Every time it happens I freak out. In fact, I have had 3 fluttery episodes today. Once after I worked on my checkbook, once sitting in traffic that was backed up and the last one was when I forced myself to get on my stationary bicycle (I am super tired.)

I never symptom surf anymore, because I would be in a straight jacket.

Ooops! We've all been there...now forgive thyself and resolve Never Again! I used to have the " there's something wrong with my heart" anxiety too. I got such relief by asking my doctor for an e.k.g. He was really nice about it, and it was easy and non-invasive. I also asked him about the palps and he said that they are benign, and a lot of people have them (unaware of it) and they get better when you learn to ignore them. Have your family stage an intervention in the event that you get the surfin' urge again, and get a doctors evaluation on your heart for reassurance... you will feel much better!
