Does anyone here take this medication?
How does it work for you?
does it make you feel crapy?

I take Ativan/Lorazepam. I take 1 .5 mgs pill in the morning and one later in the evening.
Here's how it works for me. When I'm feeling anxious I take one, and then it just calms me down, but not in a really drugged way at all. You might feel a little bit tired, but a normal kind of tired. It just slows your nervous system, and slows your mind a bit from the normal 100 thoughts per second (jk LOL but that's what it's like for me when I'm panicy) to like just a relaxed feeling.
For me personally, it doesn't make me feel crappy, but the problem is is that apparently your body can get used to it very quickly.
I've been taking it for about
two months now, two pills equal to 1 mg a day.
At first I was pretty drowsy on it, but it only two a couple days to get used to.

I take Ativan, too. At first it did make me feel drowsy and out of it, took a week or two to get used to it. I have been taking it since April and am now trying to taper off of it. My highest dosage was a total of 1.5mgs per day (3- .5mg tabs) and right now I am down to .75mgs per day. I think that it did help me to function as I was in pretty bad shape there for a while, but has since kind of lost it's punch and I feel like I would need to keep taking more to get the same effect.

I have been taking ativan on and off for about
15 years....It helps me a great deal!...But my body does get use to it fairly quickly...In those cases I just lay off of it fow a couple weeks, and struggle without it...Not always easy I can tell ya...LOL...But it works great for those days when I am anxious about
everything..

I have ben on it for many many years and doesnt make me feel crappy
When stress level is high other illnesses kick in and sometimes have to take 3 1 mg per day
It is real easy as posted to get use to and I too will go off it for a few and then it works just fine again
Be well
