Just need to vent and I hate the spacey feeling!!!

Hello everyone! I took a nap when I got the baby to sleep a little after 11am then woke up at noon, I was in a really good sleep cause when I woke up I felt like I had been sleeping for hours but it was only less than an hour, when I got outta bed cause the baby was crying, I felt kinda weird, like spacey feeling and like I was gonna pass out or something and I was really sweaty and heart beating fast and jittery feeling, I always get really scared when I feel that way cause Im at home alone with the baby and I think Im just gonna pass out or something!! but after a little bit it went away. It really irritates me cause I get scared!!!

Angie that is normal A/P IMO but maybe you need to be seen by doc thyroid or other things could be outta whack since birth of babe
Post and let us know how you are doing
You can let the babe cry for a few til you get your self feeling a bit better it never has hurt the babies yet in fact is good for them IMO

see a doc, if its from anxiety its likely to be derealisation or depersonalisation, you need to learn new ways of calming and relaxing yourself

Hey Angela,

We really do have alot in common. Most of the times when I take a nap in the middle of the day I wake up and feel really funny for awhile. I little spacy, anxious and sometimes depressed. My boyfriend told me that happens to him sometimes to when he gets up from a nap (the spacy feeling). Hope you are feeling better.

i feel also like i can relate to both of you. im 33 years old and had this since 21. angela, i have been where you are at. I had that spacey feeling for a long time, like i was in another world. it goes away over time. I was convinced mine would never go away, just like all my other symptoms. My doc used to call my feelings "uncomfortable". I see it more like torture and terrifying.

I can't wait for the day when I feel "normal" again.
