Therapy is crucial I think. I would definately see a therapist. The therapist will just talk to you about simple things at first, and will try to make you feel comfortable.
When I went to a therapist, trust me, I didn't want to go, but I did, and felt like the therapist was my friend.
I wish I could afford to see a therapist now but unfortunately can't, but I am doing CBT on my own.
