hi grouphug, i love your name ;) we all have alot of sypmtoms, and we all have alot of different sypmtoms, i have waken up many times short of breath, and numb in diff places at diff times. do some breathing exercises, maybe try some meditation? that helps me a bunch. Those are typical panic symptoms, but they are still scarey. Try to get your mind on anything but breathing, i know i have to, or it will continue to get worse, and scarey. You will be just fine, read a book, take a candlelit bath (one of my favs), take a walk, anything you can do to keep thinking other things ;) i wish you the best, and keep us posted how its going. hugs
