need advice...side pain?

i know i haven't wrote in for a long time but i have been feeling super good lately

now this morning i woke up because of the pain in my sides, just to take in a deep breath hurt i had to pee and then had a bowel movement now the pain has receded? i don't get it this has happened several times before and i have complained to the dr i have had a ct of pelvis and abdomen and an ultrasound the only thing it showed were some cysts on my ovary. i don't understand why this pain wakes me up and as soon as i am up then i have to go to the bathroom then it kinda goes away? any advice?? hope everyone is doing well and i will try to write more often thank you all for your support!!

Amos,
I have IBS and I get cramps in my sides. Are they cramps that you are feeling? That's what it sounds like to me, but I'm not a doctor.

On the other hand, I am glad that you've been feeling better. Please don't let this hinder all the progress you've been making. You're doing great!

might be heartburn, a type of indigestion, try heartburn liquids

otherwise may be cramping of the anus muscle due to anxiety, caused by anxiety, do the kegel pelvic floor exercises, details on the net

Hi Amy

Has the doc done anything about the ovarian cysts??? I only ask because I've had a lot of problems with them and had several removed, including part of an ovary. Your symptoms may be caused by your cysts. Also, and not to alarm you at all, but endometriosis can also give you the sort of symptoms you described, which can go hand in hand with the cysts. If you have painful or heavy periods, cramping, bloating or any other gynocalogical sympmtoms, it might be getting a referral to see a gynocolagist.
