I'm filled with this feeling of love and compassion right now. I just have to share it. We are good, caring, compassionate, gifted, loving people. I may be off my rocker at times, but you know what? I have you all here to put me back on. Never leave a man behind, or woman in my case. We are supportive. We have our own little community and I'm do blessed and honored to be a part of it. Thanks you guys for everything!

I feel the same - if I hadn't found you lot things would already be a lot worse for me even though I've only been on here such a short time.

yeah me 2. ive only joined today thought but soon as i read some of the posts and seen some of the people giving some great advice i thought it was great.

especially when your a 17yr old lad going thru it buy yourself lol. i dont feel alone no more.

I feel we have all been blessed by each others words of kindness, compassion, love and support it would be very hard for me not to call all of you my friends. Thank you all and I wish we could have all met under better conditions.

I agree. Everyone here is so supportive. Maybe it's knowing that I can tell you guys things because you don't know me so you can't hold it against me. Maybe it's that no matter what I'm going through, someone else manages to nod their head in understanding having been there at one time or another. I never feel alone or isolated here. I thank God for you guys and pray every evening that you all are lifted from your pains and sorrows. If it works, please continue to post, okay? LOL

Someone at HW once said to me: Glad you found us, but sorry you had to. If not for having A/P, etc. I would never have met you guys. That's been the bright side of this disease. I have met a lot of really great people along the way.

It is a fact that peeps with Anxiety and Panic disorder are the most giving and nuturing loving pple around ......we are givers
All chronic illness peeps have empathy and care for others like there is no tomorrow
I have found this out in my 52 yrs of life and still find it daily
I too would have been a lost soul if not for healing well and the great peeps here and on other forum here as well

 I have never met such a supportive group of people. And who better to get support from than people who are going through or have gone through the same problems.

I totally agree, ive never found as many kind and caring ppl in one place. I love the fact that i can come here any day, and get kind, wonderful words.

Another good day so far!! I hope I am towards the end of the withdrawal or done. It's nice not having those bouts of depression! Thank goodness.

I feel so much the same way!!! I stay up way too late in the chat rooms talking with people, but you know what, it makes me feel so much more.. normal.

I feel so glad and happy to have all of you there for me and being supportive.

I hope I can return the same to all of you. :)

Chelle what a great post. I agree with all this board has helped me so very much with everyones kindness, love and support. I'm not sure how I could have made it through this summer without all of you.

It's nice to take time to express how the glass is half-full. Thank you for your post. I was watching an MSNBC on people with OCD - specifically hoarding and they said that most people with anxiety disorders are highly intelligent and creative individuals. I wonder why it afflicts us. It does seem to pass the simpletons up. Either that, or we have learned how to have compassion and empathy and depth due to our struggles with anxiety. I'm thankfull for all of you on HW too.

I agree that ppl that are stricken with A/P are highly intellectual,
Most are professionals ........in Health care ( doc's nurses , vets ect...) or other positions that require hard work intellect and a sense of being able to help others
Type A personality
Very compassionate and always have EMPATHY for others
I find this is prolly like you said Hopeful it is due to what we struggle with daily

Great post Chell! I soooo agree with Howlyn & Hopeful who both posted prior to me. Awhile back I was very depressed and had low self esteem in struggling with my panic attacks on a daily basis. My Daddy confided to me then that he suffered from the same things I did. My Daddy is EXTREMELY intelligent. He then told me how to take this awful disorder and use it to build my strength. He said that most ALL ppl that have A/P are hardworking and bright ppl. The reason for this is the one thing we all run from! The anxiety itself is the driving force of the individual who suffers with it. It causes self doubt, thus causing the person to push themselves and try all the more harder in all aspects of their life. We seek acceptance and understanding from others and struggle to always better ourselves. And that, he said, is a WONDERFUL gift to all of those around us; our family, our friends, the people we work with. We are all amazing and wonderful and so much stronger than we'd ever even begin to realize!

   I love you all so much and am so blessed to be part of the HW family. Thank you guys for everything! God bless you all...
