HI Kreak
I expect they checked you out for other things including low blood sugar, also called hypoglycemia ( details of it on the net)
hyperventilation can become a bad habit, lots of info about it on the net, it can cause people to faint but they recover soon, if feeling faint or strange, sit or squat down and get your head low
avoid rapid breathing, especially avoid rapid shallow panting, this panting can make you feel good and can distract you, it was used by women giving birth to distract themselves from the pain
the best way for everyone to breathe is deep and slow, in a relaxed way, with no tensing or forcing
also dont hold your breath or forget to breathe when concentrating hard on something
the lorazepam, a valium type med, will help to relax and calm you, take a few tablets to school and if needed, disolve 1 under the tongue for fast help, see sublingually on the net, sadly many docs dont know about this
it may help to carry a note that says "I am having an attack of hypoglycemia" that you could show to people just in case
try to not worry about and remember the deep slow breathing will prevent it
