Did he say WHY he wants to do this? I looked up PET scan and if your insurance covers it, I'd say go for it. I know that my insurance would never pay for something like this. It sounds like a great diagnostic tool. Try not to worry. Ask questions, lots of questions - you are the customer. Keep us posted.

Has your doc referred you to a neurologist? He obviously believes that this PET can show him what's going on. I hope other post too. Wish I could be of more help. Feel better.

I think its just a piece of mind really.

I dont know, lately its just strange, I always feel like im doing everything wrong. Like talking for example, for some reason I think that I am always not pronouncing words or my sentence structure is not right. Sometimes I will feel like its not really me talking, like im out side o will be talking and ill say a word or anything like austomatically i didnt even think about it, it just sorta came out.

Sometimes somebody will say a joke and i wont get it right then I have to think about it, or I just cant seem to think straight, Ill think about one thing and then all of sudden im thinking about something else. Or i cant remember what it was I was think about or talking about.

I usually dont notice most thing around me anymore, I get there little spots in my vision that last for a couple of seconds then goes away. I always run into things for some reason, also alot of the time it just seems like im staring out in space, not look at anything specific.

I over analise eveything thing i do or happens to me, ill forget names of people I havent seen from in while or I cant think of a word i need, sometimes I look at something, I feel like I dont what part of it want to look at, for example, ill pick up a pencil and I dont know whI want to look at the tip or the end or the middle. its just wierd, or when i want to do something, i never feel like i can decide on anything. Its strange I know, but an any of you relate or been through this? does it ever go away? does anxiety ever calms down after time? its been almost a year and I havent felt better.
