You're all too sweet!
Thank you!
I went and must say that I really do like him! YAY!!!!! He's nice and listens!!! The only negative thing I can say about
him is that he was biting his nails for practically the whole time I was talking with him!! LOL!!! I'm a nail-biter myself, but I do think it's tacky to bite your nails while someone's talking to you!! HaHaHa!!! Oh well, he can bite his nails all he wants to as long as he's nice and is caring! I thought it was interesting that he's been wanting to work at the clinic for 4 years now!!!! He said he'd been working in the prison system and had been persistent in seeking the job, but the clinic kept hiring NPs and temps. So they finally hired him and he loves the job and has no plans to leave! YES!!! (I guess working with criminals makes us other mental health patients seem not so bad! heehee!!) That's good cuz the clinic has a lot of personnel turnover. I told him about
how I was told that the clinic had a policy of no longer prescribing benzos and that it had worried me. Because of it, I'd taken myself off of Xanax completely for over 3 weeks now. He said that if I needed Xanax for a week or two at some future time, he didn't have a problem with it! YES!!! YAY!! YIPEE!! So as far as I can tell right now, he's a "keeper"! Oh yes, one more thing---he thought that the pdoc (who happens to be the medical director over the clinic!) did me a disservice by not helping me with my extreme anxiety earlier this year. He said that compassion is very important in the psychiatric field! :D
So thanx again everybody! You guys are the best and I appreciate you everyone!
HUGS!!!!
