pain in chest and upper abdomen this morning.......a bit concerned

I am sure alot of people here have experianced this or something similar. I am sure they will be by shortly to share thier stories. If you are very concerned you could always check with your doc about it.

I get pains all the time! Chest pain and abdominal pain are the areas that I focus on the most and cause me the most anxiety. Of course if your pain worsens I would get it checked out, but anxiety can certainly cause the pains you describe. Even when i think I am relaxed I will still get pains. It does not take much for me to freak out and start panicking! I hate the fact that I am so sensitive to every little thing in my body!

From my understanding chest pains come more in the form of "pressure" rather then pain and that most sharp pains are the result of muscle tension. Ofcourse im nothing close to a doctor and just passing along information. Maybe some stretching will help you out?

As one who has been to the ER a few times with chest pains like you describe, I do know that if you have eaten anything it will cause severe pains in your chest . The doctor gave me donnagel and something else. OR it definitely could be severe anxiety which can feel exactly like a heart attack . Like jordaNZone said : check it out with your doctor - that always allieved my fears. Hope you feel better soon!!
