So I finally started effexor xr I pray to god that I have no side effects. I don't want more panic attacks ... I'm already nervous ..... well just needed to vent

I deleted the other thread you had on this as it was exactly the same. Please try to not double post threads.

Effexor XR is very good for panic and anxiety. Take a deep breath and take things one day at a time. It may be the one for you.

Hi jaymay. I am on Effexor (started November 2005) and I want to stay on it forever because it has given me my life back. I started getting side effects of nausea and slightly increased anxiety within a couple of days. Within two weeks these symptoms had disappeared. I do hope you get on well with it.

I have been so unlucky, when I took Effexor, I felt really good except that I developed a rash and had to be taken off. Now I am on Trazadone and still new, and I wonder how it will be.

I didn't want to go off Effexor because it felt so good, but I don't know if something else could have been taken for the rash. I didn't have nausea or any other side effects.

Only time will tell how I would do with my new meds!!@

Sad I take trazadone to stop the " Stinking Thinking " I get at night and it works great for me
No hangover feeling nothing I have been on for the past 2 yrs
That and a hot milk knock me out I sleep good with them and I dont constanly worry about everything ya know
