Lyn , my new security won't let us use yahoo and Stu can't figure it out ,  I can't even get the messages from there sad so he will put me onto MSN so we will have to chat that way.

Twiggy,

You did AMAZING!  Even though you didn't make the whole journey, you tried and went 25 mintues that is success.  For me the getting out of the house to try is harder than the actual doing, so what you did was GREAT!!!  I don't drive at all right now, it's one of my goals, just not there yet, so I totally understand what was involved in what you did and I am VERY impressed!  Keep it up...you're right about the baby steps...you'll get there!  Yay for Twiggy!!!!!!

WELL I've had a dang good day today guys!!!

I forgot my pills at my house and was PANICKING horribly and wanting to turn around but didn't have time so I FORCED myself to go to work without my meds which I have NEVER done and then I calmed down and I was FINE. It was such a good feeling.

Then I won $77 on a scratch off.

I ate a bunch of meals today and weighed myself tonight, and GUESS WHAT I WEIGH!!! 119 pounds!!!! Four months ago I weighed 108 at 5'7" and have been battling anorexia for a LONG time so I am incredibly excited!!

Then I went to the bar and played pulltabs and won another 80 bucks YEEEEEE HA hehehe

I can't believe I'm putting on weight now, FINALLY after all these years and I'm so happy because I feel like I look GOOD and not emaciated. My stomach isn't so tiny that people are worried anymore, I got some meat on me, and I'm happy.

I whipped out my paints tonight too, and have been painting for HOURS and it is so much fun and I figured out (thanks to Maree!!! *HUGS*) that I need to take more time for myself and do thinks I LIKE to do which is painting and writing and reading and mostly just painting.

hehehe

It was a good day.

QUIT worrying this MOM aint goin no where on ya I PROMISE...............

 

 I am so pleased and it is a positive thing that my son lived thru that ordeal I saw his skin on pole I vomitted I saw the van did the same.......all I could think is thank GOd My granbabes were not in there too ...........

I am changing his dressing 3 times a day and it is horrid looking but I have to put on the Nurse hat and take the Mom one of at least for that

I wear many hats these days it seems but on the POSITIVE side

I am keeping to busy to get down n out n depressed ........

ooh lil one *HUGS* I was panicky yesterday and most mornings I am waking up anxious all heck... and so I have to take my meds to feel OK, and can't handle anyone talking in the morning who talks too fast cuz it makes my anxiety go thru the ROOF!!!

But you will be okay!!! You will make it dear.

Well I'm sending some luck to ALL of you guys, and then maybe we'll all get over this darn disorder, or just win some money on the lotto. ;)

Thanx twiggy...I am starting to think I may have to consider crossing over to the side of taking meds soon... IK am not sure how much more I can tackle on my own... Everything in time...

Thank god for this site....One positive step that I  have taken is reaching out so I didn't have to do this all on my own.  I couldnt do it on my own.

I have so many people to thank for the help I need, unfortunatly I have had a rough couple of days physically, but I won't get into that because this is supposed to be for positive posts.

 

Lyn,  u have helped me sooo much, you care about everyone so much and you are great. My family doesn't understand; they think that because the surgery is over, I should be happy and not depressed and anxious.

 

Lyn you especially have helped me a great deal along with Cowboy Up!!!!!  (Dave) and Eric.

 

I am taking baby steps and I am keeping a journal about what I have accompished for the day and write about if I have good things to say about myself.....that has been hard, but again baby steps.
