Hi all,  Its been awhile.   Been on Lexapro for about 6 months now.  It worked for a while but now I'm back to the tingles again.  It only goes to the right side of my face though, this seems to be the only place where I get it.  Right near the temple area and above and below my eye.  I tell you if I didn't have Mri s done any every blood test in the world  I'd be sure I had something seriously wrong.   Does anyone else experience tingles in only one side of there face??  It really bugs me out sometimes.  It may be time to see a psychologist,  I have been experiencing some depression too, I don't know why, maybe its due to the dreery weather here in the northeast. A couple people suggest zoloft because it helps with depression as well as anxiety.  As long as I know thats what my mother takes,  maybe its all hereditary.   Anyway thanks in advance for any advice and I hope all of you are doing well.

Ive been on Lexapro for 4 months now for anxiety and I still have tingling. I have it in my eyebrows, face and occasionaly
my whole one side of my body. Ive been seeing a neurologist for months now for neck and head pain. I pretty much stressed my self out so much that it caused my neck muscles to tighten a nerve and cause the head pain. But for the tingling my neuro tells me its still anxiety. Besides the tingling( which can make me have anxiety) I beleive being on the lexapro has helped me. I was always told no kind of anti-depr will totally take away anxiety, You really have to make changes in your life that causes this. Its the combination of both that will help you. I even Had to up my dose to 20mg and that toke away the panic attacks, But I still have to tell myself everyday, I will never get that bad again.

My GP is my Psychologist he's a great listener and gives good advice, It defiently helps to talk to someone.

and for the northeast weather that will do it to !! I live here also Goodluck !!!!

Sound's like you got some pretty good input there as I'm on Lexapro myself 20mgs and I feel SO much better then ever on it, and I still get those tingles feelings from time to time as well as the eyebrow twich on the left side but after 12 years of it I don't sime to mind it now just wish that I was on it years ago as it has helped with my anxiety and panic attacks so much. Sorry about the weather there but it could be -35 like we had not to long ago and I seen it as cold as -55 now that was one cold month.

Welcome to you both to HW. You will find great support here and make friends very quickly. I haven't ever taken Lexapro but I do understand the tingling in the face. It drives me nuts but it is something I have had to learn to live with. I wish you both the best of luck and please keep posting so we can all get to know each other better.

Yip I do the tingling thing too at times..for me it's a sure sign that I am heading towards panic mode, and that I should be concentrating on my breathing immediately if not sooner lol..For me the tingling starts just below my right eye and heads on down to my jawline..it's a spooky feeling - and of course the first time it happened I thought all sorts of medical probs were happening..eg. stroke etc..
