Hello everyone,
I am new to this web site and find it very informative. I am 37 years old and have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks since high school. I have tried everything you can think of to get it under control. I finally found a Dr. who had put me on Xanacs everyday and I take Lovox which the Dr. thought might work with OCD with overthinking. I have to say it has taken the panic attacks and axiety away 4 years now and I now have 2 daughters which I never thought would happen. The problem I still have is cronic fatigue. I have had this before I even started taking meds. I don't know if there is something about always having cronic fatigue causing the panic attacks and anxiety or if it is the other way around. I can take vicotine and I seem more focused and alert during the day but I have stopped taking them since I think I may be becoming dependent on them. I've tried Provigel and Ridalin and they have no affect on me. Seems funny that Opiads can give the affect you would think you would get from an anti-deppresant.
I guess my questions are 1. Is there any foods or meds that can help me with my cronic fatigue?
2. Can the cronic fatigue be what has caused my panic disorders? and 3. Is there any meds out there that do make you more alert and focused?
I am getting sick of having to take a nap 2 hours after I wake up and still have a full days work ahead of me.
Thanks for any suggestions.
