I know a lot of people here (including myself) have thoughts racing through our minds constantly. As a result, sometimes I forget stupid things and have trouble concentrating. Like I'll turn on my computer to look something up, when only a minute later, completely forget what i wanted to look up!!

I have the worst memory problems... not only due to the racing thoughts... but one of Ativan's main side effect is memory problems.

I will feel so dumb sometimes being in the middle of a conversation and then just blanking.. forgetting what I'm talking about...

or I'm about to go somewhere in my house to do something and when I start to go where I think I was going I just stop and can't remember what in the heck I was going to do...

and usually it takes a me a while to remember what I was intending to do!

UGH I hate memory problems

If you (not you personally) stop taking the Ativan will the memory problems go away? I am on Ativan as well and wonder if this has long term effects.

I am like this I forget things all the time, my spelling also seems to be affected which is weird as I used to be really good at English and such! I leave things like the cooker on and don't remeber and I can read something then totally forget what it was!

I take ativan but I do not contribute my memory probs to that ....
I believe the A/P is the reason I have probs
I have alot on my plate and dont talk about all of it so I think that has something to do with it all
