I see what you are saying. I'm the same way with my meds.. I don't take as many as prescribed, so I always go past my next refill time, and have meds left when I go to docs and should need new script. My doc normally just re-writes my script and shakes his finger at me telling me meds don't do me any good sitting in the bottle.
The problem that I see with getting refills to finish out your prescription is what docs call "stockpiling" meds. Which makes little difference if you don't abuse them, but a pharmacist won't see it that way. With controlled substances, you are only supposed to have the amount on hand, that matches your script. Like, sixty pills for a twice a day script. If it's an "as needed" script, there still should be something on bottle like "one every six hours, as needed", which is what they will base your refills on.
I really doubt you will find a pharmacist to give you all your refills that are due you, close together. There is such close scrutiny now on controlled substances, that doing that would send a red flag up on the pharmacy. If you can't get into doc, you should start to taper now... going cold turkey off Klonopin is a dangerous thing.
