hi all my doc switch me to xanax

from buspar 30mg to xanax5 mg... I feel more relaxed but is this the end all, seems too be working fine, in fact a little to well, Im relaxed beyhond means today. and I was still prescribed the xan with buspar...Mind you Im taking lexapro20mg as well... which should I do one or the other, it says take xan as needed.. for sleep Im using ambeien cr 12.5 hmm any comments? EDIT , By the way I mentioned trying klonopin for my axienty but he have me xanax... I just want to end this anxiety, today was a nice day but I felt stoned lol...

I now take Atavan which works much better for me than Klonopin which I couldn't take because I felt like I was on Mars or something. I also take Wellbutrin xl and nefazadone for depression. With all these 3 meds. I sleep fairly well.

I am concerned that you have been given too much medicine for your anxiety and sleep problem. If an antianxiety pill does work for you, you will automatically be able to sleep better, believe me. I think the least amt. of meds. you take, the better.

You do have to go by the way you feel, and your dr. should listen to you very carefully. If you see you are not being helped the way you want to be, don't hesitate to contact another dr. I have switched several times until I found the dr. for me.

Hey george - sounds like you might want to check back with your doc. You've mentioned a lot of different meds in one post... : )

Xanax is to anxiety as aspirin is to a headache (although clearly Xanax is a much more serious drug). It can be very effective.
