Long period with out anxiety attack..........

Hi angest. First off, congrats on going the 3 months free of the GAD and Panic. That must have been nice! I can say that what happens with me and my panic attacks is, I get them and they stay with me constant for weeks or even months at a time, and then they calm down for a while, but I may still have a lot of anxiety! Everyone is different, and for 8years, that is how it seems to have gone for me.

I can't tell you anything about your med question, because I have no idea. I think you should talk to your doctor and see what he suggests for you to do.

the smallest effective zoloft dose is 50, ask doc about upping it

yes diazepam goes well with zoloft, I suggest you carry a few diazepam tablets with you when out and disolve 1 under the tongue if another panic attack happens

sometimes zoloft type meds stop all panic attacks, but not always, the ones that arent stopped are called breakthru panic attacks

as always, it helps a lot to learn CBT relaxation and coping skills, dont just rely on meds
