Halloween is actually a little freaky for me with anxiety...

The reason I say that Halloween is a bit freaky for me with anxiety is because I have sooooo much going on tomorrow. In the morning, I drop my son off at school. I have to go buy a camera to take pictures all day long. In the afternoon, I have to be to my sons school for their Halloween parade, which is like 1 p.m. When we get home from school, we have to go to my sisters house, and help them getting ready for Halloween.   Then, we are going to my brothers house, 25 minutes away to go Trick or Treating.   Then, we have to go visit my mother.  She wants to see the kids all dressed up, and can't get out of the house to be with anyone. Then, FINALLY, we come home. I am only a little nervous, because that is a lot of busy-ness. I have already decided to take Xanax tomorrow as a precaution, because I have been having too many panic attacks to risk letting something go wrong during this day, ya know? I really think I will be fine, but considering all I have to do, I can't help but be a bit nervous, ya know? Thanks all for listening!! ((((((HUGS))))))

I know how you feel Tammy! Today was such a busy day for me (just here taking a break)----I was running errands from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.---came home---laid down for a while---now, it's "round 2"! I think Halloween is becoming like Thanksgiving and Christmas: just one big commercialized holiday! Our society has made Halloween such a buy, buy, buy event-----decorations, costumes, candy, paraphanalia for your front yard(sp)---just to deck out for a night!

Kids today don't have to be too creative with costumes like we had to 25+ years ago (it doesn't seem like it's that long ago)-----One year---I was a BAG OF LEAVES! I got a Hefty Trash Bag---went in my backyard---had my friend scoop leaves from our tree into the bag---cinched the top---and VIOLA--costume (although it did itch)---today----you have to buy the costume (or pieces to make a costume), makeup, wigs, shoes, socks, fake nails, fake eyelashes, stuff for your yard, 20+ pumpkins, lights, etc....Don't get me wrong---some of the costumes are SUPER cute----and funny (some gorry)--but, it's just over the top for me!

I think it just adds to all of the stress this time of the year bring!

NOW--for me (yes, I am long winded)---we just carve pumpkins (one ofr each kid), put a couple decorations on the door---and buy candy! I think, for me PERSONALLY, all of the hoopla of the holidays adds stress to my life I DON'T need!


Hang in there----tomorrow is NOV. 1st! I can't wait to relax! ;)

I know exactly how ya feel I have been at doc's most of day .then with Dad and now I come home to SIL and all here waiting for me to go tricking n treating after I apparently do supper for all ..YAHOOO.........I have a Cait and B/F giving out candy and I was going to REST.....so I thought lol.......not about to happen

Anyways thanks for venting and thanks for letting me vent off of your vent .....does that make sense....

Try to have a good time and I will too catch up with ya after halloweeny night k in the am and see how we all made out .......
