STITCHES COME OUT TOMORROW

I'm high anxiety today at the thought of having the stitches out and is it gonna hurt when I put my foot down without the boot on but am very happy that my stitches will come out tomorrow and from what the nurse said I will be able to get my foot wet which means standing up showers again - YIPPEE, YIPPEEE, YAHOO.  In approximately 28 hours and 8 minutes they will be out (but, really, whose counting down - ME).  Just wanted to share my anxiety and excitement that this phase is almost over and I can move to the next phase of this recovery.  I couldn't have made it thru this without the help of all of you here.  Thanks sooooo much.

Add some anticipatory happiness to your anticipatory anxiety, because the thought of a nice stand-up shower and no boot to sleep in sounds great! Even if the stitches hurt coming out, remember that it will only be for a very short time. My young nephew had some in his head once, and I don't recall him saying that it hurt to remove them, only to get them.
