Sometimes when sitting at my Desk,I feel sick..does this happen to any of you?

Good morning
I am sure you are not alone in this
I do feel the nausea quite often when just sitting or I may be doing something

I honestly believe it is a "GIFT" of the A/P....( she says with sarcasm..directed at a/p ) we get so many things happen to us from this DD

Try taking some crackers to work and just nibbling on them
I know it does help me to a point

I hope you do find a way to get thru this
'It is a pain to feel nauseaus for no "reason" or reasons we just cannot seem to grasp or control

You can also try deep breathing tech's whilst sitting at your desk
It would not be noticeable IMHO...........

That doesn't happen to me, but there was a long stretch of time where I'd get short of breath just sitting at my desk. It turns out it wasn't caused by anxiety, but it brought on anxiety attacks right away. Then I'd have to just sit and try to distract myself or attempt deep breathing. Sometimes, I'd get up and walk out to the main office area to chat - not really paying attention fully (sorry to my colleagues!) - but as another attempt at distraction.

Maybe some of those strategies can help you. I sure hope you get some relief.

Thank you for the tips,however it isn't a Nauseated type sick,it is a general sick feeling.Sometimes it is to weird to describe..what is a Gift of the A/P?I don't understand what you mean..

Percy (and Lyn),

I'm housebound Agoraphobic,so it happens whilst at Home sitting at my Desk..not at the Office or in front of Colleagues.
