Well, Barb's checkup at the cardio's was good today. He gave her an emergency pill to take if her blood pressure spikes again to save us a wear and tear trip to that lousy e.r. Good move!

I'm feeling frisky and recovering from the burning pipes syndrome. Just a little smoke from the embers now.-ha!

Trouble is this meals on wheels service we get, they smother the food in black pepper! I emailed one of them to see if they could cut the "heat" on the food.

Well, Rachel and family, that's about the news for now. Hope ya'll are feeling good and have a restful weekend.

Yep, we hope she doesn't need that pill either. That's our "Break glass in case of fire" medicine.
The warm weather is still right here, but I will box some up and mail it to you. We had some rain storms yesterday and it cooled down for a while but back up to 101 probably today and the next several. Nothing wilts me faster and it doesn't help my anxiety either. I'd gladly trade for some cooler air.

I'm glad that pipe fire is out (what is a pipe fire?!!!)..still waiting on that heat (oh and can I steal a plate of Barb's food - I hear she is an amazing cook!!) Stay well, stay positive.

Sorry to hear your having another issue and I agree with Lyn, sinus infections usually need antibiotic or they can turn ugly. 

Hope you can nip this infection in the bud quickly.

Good morning. I hope you are feeling better today. I also hope that those antibiotics do more good than harm. I'm keepin the prayers going up for you and Barb. I just hate it when I cant taste my food. I usually try and eat something really spicy to clear up my sinuses but I guess you cant or you might get firey pipes again. I would love to send you some of my homemade chicken noodle soup. I might make some in your honor. Keep your head up my friend. He is taking care of things for us even though we cant always tell. Love to you both!!!

I hope you are feeling better this morning. I really do wish I could bring you some of my chicken noodle soup. It always makes people feel better. Maybe you could get some Cambells and eat it? It's nothing compared to my mommas good ole recipe but hey, it will warm your soul. I know it's almost too hot to eat soup where you are. Try and have a good day. Maybe you and Barb should rent a movie together and have a movie night. And maybe play some Scrabble or something. Anything to get your mind off the pain. Just try and have some fun today. It is Saturday. I hope that right now your eating some Fruity Pebbles in your briefs and watching cartoons! That sounds pretty good dont it? My prayers will continue to go up for you and Barb. I'm sending much much love to you both!!!
