I am so upset (angry and hurt),I could punch someone and cry at the same time!My Attorney was EXTREMELY hateful,rude and mean to me not once,but TWICE Today!In the process he told me to grow up then turned around and told me he was gonna throw the Telephone out the Window and never speak to me again.I am "itching" to e-mail him and ask,"Hey what was with the totally uncalled for attitude today?"I am paying him VERY GOOD Money and when I hired him 6 Month's ago have busted my Tush doing everything I possibly can to help him and also save myself Money then he cops this crappy attitude with me.His moods are very unpredictable and at times makes me think he's using Drugs..either he or one of his Siblings did back in the Day..my Attorney is 1 Year younger..

If ya'll were me what would ya'll do?He wants respect,so he's gonna respect me in turn!

First of all I may have missed it but I have no idea why you have an attorney and why you and he had a disagreement..............is this related to anxiety or Panic?

I am not sure what you are asking when you say "If ya'll were me what would ya'll do?He wants respect,so he's gonna respect me in turn!"

One thing about respect is you cannot demand it, it must be earned IMHO.

I hired an Attorney to prevent my late Father's Sister and a Sister in-law from finishing taking me on my Inheritance/Estate/Possessions.They left me with no other choice but to hire an Attorney.

We didn't have a disagreement he was just being a hateful little crap!What I meant when I said "If ya'll were me what would ya'll do is:Would ya'll call or e-mail him and express thoughts on his behavior and attitude.

After a bit of thought,I did email him.I told him,"Yesterday was a crappy Day and I was already in a foul mood (Miss Monthly arrived).After your attitude,I was so stressed that when I tried going outside the second time,I couldn't reach my destination,so had to come back in the House.I cried and cried because it made me feel I failed..I didn't fail..you know why?I MADE myself go back out..I'm a survivor!"

"You don't know the determination,strength,strong-will,bravery and courage I bring up from the deepest part of myself,yet you told me to grow up?Whatever!

Toward the end of the e-mail I told him,"I am a VERY blunt an straight forward Woman and Person.I have respected you,done what you asked of me and have worked very hard with the means I have to help you,but saw disrespect from you Yesterday."

Thank you for the clarification. I understand you were upset with his attitude.  I would practice trying to be assertive at the time and not let the anger take over.

I know this is difficult as I will knee jerk too and then wish I had not reacted to a situation.

Good luck on getting your estate squared away.

If he wants your business he should respect your wishes. In the end your paying him for his service u owe him nothing but money, hes the one who should be jumping to your wishes. Dont let him get to u, if he loses his cool then dont rise to it. It always irritates ppl more when thy cant wind u up.

I think you handled this in a good way. I would have ended up saying something in person that I would regret later. I think it is good that you took the time to think about it and email him. I dont think he should be treating you this way at all. Maybe he was having a bad day that day, but still, you are his customer and he should treat you with the utmost respect. Especially since your paying him good money. Is there a way you could make a complaint to someone higher up than him? That might stop his attitude it's tracks. Just keep your head up. We know that you deserve all the respect you want. You do deserve it. It doesn't matter what shape our mental health is in, we all deserve to be treated in a respectful way. So keep your head up and congrats on being the Survivor that you are! Let us know how things go. Love to you!
