Face Page Panic

I hope I'm on topic here. I do have Anxiety Disorder and with that comes Depression. This problem fits
"kinda" in this area.
Here's the problem: My daughter is 30. She has two cute little kids. She is overpleased with herself
with her yacht and seaside cabin, etc. Do you have the picture?
She has a friend who is a world traveler and they both were raised in the same town. Same age.
Mr daughter's friend, I'll call her Crystal has a new face page. She writes to my daughter and says,
"I love you. I miss you sooo much." This sentiment comes all the way from Australia.
I guess this got to be a little too much for Crystal's Mom and Mom said, "I don't think you should express
so much love in your posts. Your other friends might get jealous."
Crystal was insensed with her mother and felt that she had no business making such a statement. Crystal
apparently doesn't like her mother anymore for getting involved in this.

Now my problem: My daughter said, "I'm not going to send you my Face Page but I know you wouldn't say
something like that. Thing is: I feel the sentiment of "I love you" should be private -- between the two
lovers. I'm just like Crystal's mother!
I don't think the two are ***s. I wouldn't be upset if they were. But there are a lot of kids involved
both girls have two and established marriages.
Are they ***s and I've just been clueless since they were sixteen?
Why doesn't my daughter send me her face page?
I feel terrible. Left out. Not trusted.

Your daughter is 30 and this sounds more like the behavior of  teens on behalf of her friend's Mother telling her what to do with her blog.

As they are on 2 different continents I would doubt that this is more then a close friendship.  Lots of people express their love of their friends by saying "Hey, Love you"

If your daughter prefers to keep her face page private I would not worry about it.  I do not feel, IMHO, that it is worth getting into with her.

You are her Mom and my own daughter does not share everything in her life with me..................

So, Mom, know she loves you or she would not have mentioned it to you at all.

You are sooo right. I would not want my daughter to read my "Anxiety Forum" or
my "Chronic Pain Forum." These are secrets that I want to keep from her. If she
knew the degree of pain I'm in, she'd be upset. If she knew my Anxiety, she'd pass
out. : -D

Now what I'm thinking is this: If a young girl should find that she is "The L Word"
and she started to have Anxiety and Panic over the situation, she might come here.
And what happens here??? She's censored! Her panic would not be soothed.
She would not feel that she's ok. It's funny to me but it could be not funny if I
were 14 and had "L word" leanings.
I had to wait till I was 28! ha.Mine passed by rather swiftly. I wasn't a lifer. : )

It's late here in California and I just feel like sitting here and writing words
that I suspect would be edited by the computer.
With my luck, I wouldn't be able to delete them and they'd ALL go through
