I thought it would be a good time to let all of our Mods how much we appreciate and love them this week :)  I personally want to thank each and every one of you for being so supportive and fun :)  Without you, we would all be lost sheep. . . tongue

Come on everyone. . . Show some luv now yeah

I posted this on the fibro forum also, I urge everyone to post this on all forums to show gratitude to our moderators :)

ok, here goes:

Kitt:  you are the voice of reason. i love your kind, thoughtful and sensitive advice. the way you deal with us, and with what life throws at you is nothing short of amazing. You have welcomed me from the start and been a source of support and wisdom. Your gentle hugs have made their way to Sydney and are truly special- kinda like you. yeah

Lyn: you inspire me. you are so honest about your trials and tribulations but you face them head on with a 'never say die' attitude and a healthy mix of humour. your words of comfort have been well timed and well said. you are a whole lotta special, lady- not only the fabulous way you attend to your HW family, but your love and concern for Cait is beautiful too. yeah

Meg: my fellow Aussie, you have provided me with both practical advice and help, as well as laughs. your support is invaluable. you have comforted me when i need and given practical advice as well. i love that i feel i can tell you anything and not be judged or ignored. thankyou for being you- you have genuinely helped me. yeah

All of these 3 ladies provide their own unique spin on support, caring, encouragement etc. 3 individuals who bring their own special flavour of understanding. I am so grateful.

You all do such a great job of being there for everyone and keeping a cool and logical head about things. I also really appreciate how diligently you work to make sure that all of the threads stay on track and and are appropriate to this forum. Thank you!

I would like to thank all the moderators you do a fantastic job of being there for support and advice, this forum is a good place to come to talk to other like minded people and it is down to you moderators who make it such a welcoming place. Thanks for taking the time out to moderate the forum and thanks for caring.

You have all helped me so much and i hope i can repay the favor.

......Maz .....I do and have faced many a challenge but I have faced it with all of you's

Lil sis has been a true rooter on and a great friend in the past while when I had things I was going thru and due to rules could not post ( Caitlyn)

Each have helped in posts I have shared about her and my health conditions....

ALL of you help me in some way......whether it is to read about the steps you are taking or having a good laugh together........LAUGHTER definely is needed with this Dang anxiety.......Yes I love my Cait more than I ever thought possible........Thanks for all your support and kind words....Truly appreciated and it does help us carry on doing what we do

Remember we are just like you's with health issues et all.......

Being a moderator is reading all posts ......keeping site free of spammers and harm to you all  and yes we have different opinions on some things but usually not on everything

It does help to have great members as well to keep forum running so smoothly........I know that I come here as well to get support and get it w/o fail everytime

Each person is doing so well we do read and see the major steps or baby steps you have taken and I know I am not the only Moderator that worries about the Family when I am not on site......

I am only doing what we both love to do and you also mod  3 forums so we are even ... smilewinkgrin .........You are right as per norm we do love it and we especially love to see our family getting ahead and making such good progress

BUT remember if you fall behind ..thats okay too

Big hugs and cheers for our wonderful mods! You all are not only great at keeping the forum running smoothly, but you're inspiring role models. How you handle your own health problems yet still have time and caring and compassion for the folks who post here really reminds a person how to keep things in perspective.

The environment of this forum is positively wonderful, and I believe much of that is due to all of you.

Glad to see an appreciation thread for our wonderful moderators.  All of you are the very best and I honestly don't think I'd be where I am today without this site and this site would not be if not for the moderators.  So a humongous thank you to all of you who give your time, compassion, understanding and love to all of us here!

Hi healing,

I have seen that show and I loved it.  Thank you for bringing it up.  I have been spending a lot of time at the U of MN these past 3 months and to see the children being pulled in wagons by there parents makes you feel very humble.

I also had the opportunity to see the Ronald McDonald House.

Amazing.

Healing pressure

Patch Adams IS one of my most fav movies
It does show that humor can do wonders with disease and the human mind

I watch this movie at least 2 times a year

Many docs out there should watch it as well .IMHO

Thank you sweetie.  I sure appreciate your supporting us.  Megs, Lyn, Cowboy and myself love HealingWell and try to support and give the best advise we can. 

The support we gives comes back to us tenfold. We draw our strength from all of you.  We speak up and ask for help too so , in my mind, that is what makes this a great family.

Im with Nikki- you guys are only human, and yet the work you do here seems SUPER human and its voluntary and i just feel that yes, its important to acknowledge that, but its also more important to ensure that you guys are treated with the respect you deserve.

         I dont know IF you realize just how these 2 posts made me feel

 

   Sometimes it does get hard to feel like you are being the "Bad Guy"all the time

 Especially when that is definitely not the intention.........

 

I like LIL sis .......Give back as much as I can of all I have been given by the "family" here

 

 Each have a special place in my heart and for reasons of your own.......

Whether it is the battles you face or the ones you are facing......

The steps you have taken OR are about to take

The issues you have ....or the issues you have solved

We really do read each post and we get to know the ppl here

WE are a loving ,caring, giving, sharing and empathetic FAMILY here

We get our bad days and our good days some have a few medical issues and family issues they are dealing with BUT we do NEED to come here and get the caring and support from you's as well

                 ****THIS IS a 2 way street so to speak****

Yes your mods appreciate all you do in helping us keep a safe forum and a positive place for new members to come to and veterans
