Hello Normal,
A few suggestions for you:
Learn meditation and do muscle relaxation. More simply, pay attention to your stress level throughout the day and occasionally breathe slowly and deeply.
Do 1-2 hours of Yoga and keep mentally and physically fit. This helps to cope with every day stress.
Have you been through the CBT ? There is a free online site if you would like the link, let me know.
Many people with PTSD take low doses of some anti-depressants which has been known to help tremendously. I will tell you it's trial and error as to which medication will help you. It varies with every person and it can be a long and arduous process. But it's worth it. Do NOT worry about the stigmas. Today more than ever, people realize what the stressors of every day life can put on all of us.
Take care and remember you can beat anxiety.
