I have been thinking of you all day and I remember when my father died, I was 37 or so and he was my one person in the world I knew wold never abandon me............but cancer took him.

I am praying for you. Let those tears out and if your in public, just put on sun glasses............my therapist taught me that one.

Maree, i recently lost my precious uncle and was given the honour of doing his eulogy. i included this poem at the end cos the words really comforted me at a time when the pain was raw. I hope that maybe you can get some comfort from these words also:

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.


O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
