There are great things happening in your life and around you all the time.

Celebrate the good stuff around us, in others, and in ourselves.  Share your good stuff with others right here in the A & P Forum.

Hello Dear Friends,

At times, it can be so easy to take that slippery slide downward and focus on what’s not working. It happens to the best of us. So I am going to post my good stuff in this thread and hope you all will too.............

Today my good stuff:

1.  Reading a great novel, Best Friends Forever by Jennifer Weiner

2.  The weather is beautiful, sun is shining with a light breeze.

3.  Started on new medication for my depression.......today is Day 2. turn

4.  Coming here each morning for me is awesome good stuff.

Hugs to each of you and bring on your good stuff.

Hello, Kitt & all of my HW friends,

Here is my good stuff for today:

1.  It was supposed to be stormy today, but the sun is shining

2.  I got vacuuming done

3.  There were no mice in the mouse traps in the garage

4.  Hubby is coming home tomorrow after visiting family in Florida

5.  I am meeting my very devoted son for dinner tonight

6.  I am listening to a CD by James Last

7.  I am feeling good today, both mentally & physically

Nice thread Kitt! We DO need to be doing this more often than we do! I'm glad you thought of it!

1. I have a great and wonderful baby girl thats about to turn 1 on aug 16th.
2. I have a wonderful boyfriend that loves me and supports me (as much as he can given he doesnt understand)
3. I am over all healthy (not today but most of the time and it could be alot worse for me and its not)
4. I found all of you!
5. Good movies that make you laugh and smile
6. Good music
7. My cats
8. Talking to my mom on the phone

Karen and Jen, Great good stuff.  I am glad you are going to dinner with your son Karen and Jen, my grandaughter turn 16 on the 16th.  Her Golden Birthday so you daughter will have her 16th birthday on the 16th some day too.

Nice!

1. I found an excellent home for one of my rescue dogs today.

2. It's not raining!!  Finally!!

3. I decided that today I would start eating better.

4. I went grocery shopping at lunch and decided to try something new tonight!

5. I have been renting the LOST dvds and I am LOVING them.  Watching them keeps my mind off the bad stuff.

Good Stuff:

1. Successfully got through a doctors appt and blood work.
2. Called a psychiarist to monitor my meds.
3. Went to the supermarker and was calm.
4. Had an appetite today!
5. Made a healthy dinner.

Good Stuff:

 

  • I went to church for a christian education class today and really enjoyed being around my church family and friends
  • The weather was great today and I think it will be tomorrow also
  • I talked about some things that were stressing me with my best friend and it helped ALOT
  • I'm getting ready to start a new painting as a gift for someone
  • Had some anxiety symptoms today but I still made it through!
  • I found all of you here to keep me motivated and hanging in there!

My Good Stuff Today:

1. One of my grandaughter's birthday is today, she is 13 now. :-)

2.  Packing to go to the cabin for a long weekend, my first time at the lake this summer.

3.  The flowers I planted at the end of June are still alive......for me that is really good stuff and I do not have a green thumb. smhair

4.  Day 3 on my new medication and I am doing well without a lot of side effects.

5.  The sun is shining and it is a glorious summer day.

Oh Happy Day !

The sun is shining!

I'm taking the kids to the park and meeting friends there.

I have fantastic kids.

In the big picture, my problems are minor and fixable. (I just need to learn to keep things in perspective!)
