My seroquel has been upped to 25 mg (my doc said it could go up as much as 300). I'm also on 60 mg Prozac and half a .25 3x/day.
I have been feeling light and sound sensitive for quite a bit...it waxes and wanes somewhat but not much. I've had lots of tests that showed nothing except a lump on my lymph node. I also have constant minor trembles and spurratic jerkiness.
I would say the sensitivity freaks me the most usually b/c almost any sound makes me startled a little; sometimes its more like if someone yells "boo!" to you and you didn't know this person was home...your heart jumps, your body may jump, slight adrenaline rush, and its like your nerves are too sensitive, like they need to be cooled down.
This happens when I'm still or typing or whatever--I'm not nervous or whatnot.
Sine the tests showed nothing supposedly, my doc says is 'anxiety'....right now I feel like its when a doc tells you you have IBS b/c they have no idea what's wrong with you stomach. I feel like she just doesn't know.
I take my prozac like 40 mg when I wake up, and the last 20 around dinner. I noticed today that after I took the 20, the sensitivity seemed to go down, but that's never happened before. AND, I've never really noticed a blatant correlation of how I feel as realted to when I took the medicine---b/c its usually gradual I guess, or coincidence.
Maybe it's possible it could have helped. Maybe not. But has anyone had those types of feelings?
I also have been feeling a little more OCD than usual--just small stuff, not the usual hand washing or anything.
And I feel like my sensitivity will get worse--and that really scares me b/c it woudl mean I cant do anything basically, since everything involves sound and light, unless you lock yourself in a black room or sens. dep. tank...but I don't know if it's me, or if it's something wrong in my head.
